An upbeat vignette of a smiling man seated at a cafe table holding a drink in his right hand, facing the viewer wearing a beret cap, the background having expressionistic trees and skies, with the light bouncing off the man's clothing creates a lyrical scene - one to invite into the home. Rovithis' palette knife has laid a mosaic of brilliant colors.
The back is inscribed "To Sam and Margaret with all my best [souvenir ?] from my exhibition in Atlanta ga Love Manos Sept 25/81". The recipients of this painting were Sam and Margaret Rambo of Marietta, Georgia who bequeated it to their daughter Meredith. Signed lower right.
