This magnificent large vintage photograph of the interior power plant at Sebring, Florida captures the plant prior to its inauguaration in the early 1980s. At the time, it was considered innovative for its use of deisel fuel, borrowing heavily from European designs. The plant was constructed under budget and ahead of schedule around 1982 or 1983. This photograph came from the collection of one of its engineers, Barry Hall of Marietta, Georgia.

The engineering firm of Sulzer Bros, Inc of New York City is captioned below the photograph, along with identification of the plant, and Lockwood Greene, the general engineering firm which had a major office in Atlanta, Georgia. Lockwood, Greene closed its doors in 2017.

The beauty of the industrial design brings joy to the heart. Framed and matted.
