Bertino Originals glass products are a bit hard to find given that the company was only in business for 4 years - at least in California. Their distinctives wares, such as our vintage glass covered bowl, are characterized by bubble surfaces whose crevaces are filled with gold colored metal. The bowl sits atop a circular foot upon which is a stringy pile of the gold colored metal. It is truly a sign of the times - the late 1960s times that is - with the avocado or lime green and the funky design. It's American made and true period flashback.
