Royal Dux

Duxer Porzellanmanufaktur, better known as Royal Dux in English speaking places, has been in business since 1860 when it was founded by Robert Eichler in Bohemia which in time became Czechoslavakia and the Czech Republic. The company is known for its high quality porcelains, especially from the early period leading to World War 1. Dating can be approximated by noting the form of the pink triangle found on the underside of its figural groups.

Though its early traditional figural groups remain popular, Royal Dux also kept with the times by producing more modernistic models throughout the 20th century.
