Nemadji Tile & Pottery Company
Nemadji Tile & Pottery was an American ceramics producer which operated from 1923 - 2001 in Moose Lake, Minnesota. The company introduced tourist wares for which it became famous in 1929 which, according to one source, ceased in 1972. Production typically consisted of vases, bowls, ash trays, and other similar vessels. The unglazed wares have swirled designs, often of multiple colors which are reminiscent of Indian designs. They are almost always marked.
