Mattel

Mattel was found in 1945 in California by Harold Matson, and Elliot and Ruth Handler as a toy maker. It was an original sponsor of the Mickey Mouse club, creator of Barbie, Chatty Cathy, Hot Wheels and many more toys. Its fortunes have ebbed and tide over the year, but it still operates as a major toy and entertainment company.
