A dazzling, vibrant serving tray with shaped rectangular form decorated with swags and leaves which frame brilliant blue beads meticulously arranged, which border gold darts surrounding a garland of bright delicate flowers. This very refined tray sits atop a splayed similarly shaped rectangular pedestal. The back stamp reads Mortlock 18 Regent St. Mortlock was the famous porcelain merchant which often decorated its own wares as we suspect was the case with this fine, elegant tray. Pattern 4180.

It is uncertain who the manufacturer was, but based on similar designs from Minton, we suspect that it manufactured the plate, and is c. 1835 production.
